Currently, the main initiatives concerning the enhancement of the organ heritage and pipe organs are promoted in the area by the Vallesina Organ Association. Every year they organise, together with other associations, the review “Sounds from the past”, which since 1995 has given voice and honour to the ancient instruments that are found in almost every church in the Marche and beyond.

Traditionally, every year in October, on occasion of the feast day of the patron saint San Placido, the organ of the parish church of Montecarotto, created by Vici in 1776, is also played by national and international artists.

One of these, in 2019 ,was Maestro Juan Paradell Solé, titular organist of the “Sistine” Pontifical Music Chapel.

In October 2013 the organ of the Collegiate was played by Father Armando Pierucci OFM.
